About the Journal

Panorama of Emergency Medicine is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open access scientific journal focused on advancing the field of emergency medicine through publication of high-quality research, reviews, case reports, and other scholarly works.

PoEM is proudly owned and published by New Health Concept, a healthcare consultancy and publication organization dedicated to supporting healthcare professionals, institutions, and researchers with evidence-based knowledge, training, and communication services.

Our History

PoEM builds on the legacy of the Mediterranean Journal of Emergency Medicine (MJEM), established in 2009 to support the development of emergency medicine in Lebanon and provide a platform for research and scientific exchange.

Following the growth of emergency medicine education and residency programs in Lebanon, MJEM evolved into PoEM in 2021, continuing its mission of sharing research and advancing knowledge across emergency medicine.
